Well, have made it all the way to the Himalayas. McLeod Ganj, home of Ferenjinan and the Dalai Lama.
Feeling delicate all day so decided to "give my stomach a rest" (one of my mother's expressions - as time goes by I find myself lapsing more and more into The Muvver Tongue.)
But by six o'clock, I'm ravenous, and craving something that isn't curried, and doesn't come with boiled rice or chapattis. I go for Momo, a sort of dumpling parcel filled with steamed vegetables, a Tibetan speciality not dissimilar to ravioli. And chips. (yes. I know. But I had this craving...)
Verdict? The Momo were nice enough but without salt and vinegar the chips were a disappointment
:-(
